is anyone doing anything for Armed Forces Day today?

i didnt even know it was today until i watched the news this morning.

Seems odd that with such strong support for troops etc these days that more has not been made of today

Plasterd all over the place down here, parts of the dockyard and two warships open to the public. But as I see them every day of the week think I'll give it a miss why queue up for something you can go one whenever you want? lol

i guess it will depend on where you live etc, obviously towns with large affiliations to the armed forces will be doing more etc

We've had the search and rescue helicopter, Red Arrows, Lancaster bomber, spitfire and Hurricane.

3 tornado's and 3 typhoons to fly by at 18.30 here in Edinburgh amongst other things to mark the day.

yep our local one was fantastic, great for all ages, was a lovely day out, got people supporting our guys n girls and i got to go on a bouncy castle woo
