Just got back from a weekend in Bulgaria snowboarding. I fell on Saturday and dislocated my shoulder. So much pain, still so painful now. Anyone else had any holiday accidents?

Ouch! Feel better soon.

I grazed my knee on a rock on a tiny beach in Majorca. I asked the life guard for a plaster for the miniscule injury. He jumped in to action, radioed someone and next think I knew a guy came zooming into the cove on a jet ski a la Baywatch and raced up the beach with a band aid.

Talk about drama queen

Not on holiday, but I have twice dislocated the same shoulder. Very ouchy, though less so the second time around.

I dislocated my shoulder when I was 5 after I fell off my brothers back (we were playing cowboys and Indians apparently) ..

To this day I can still remember having it reset

Also, not an injury as such, but I was bitten on my foot by a rogue mosquito whilst on holiday in turkey ..

My foot got infected, my leg swelled up and it was touch and go as to whether they would let me fly home..

Luckily they did and when I got to the drs at home I was given a month off work and complete rest..

Tore a ligament in my knee, and cracked a couple of ribs on separate skiing holidays in Bulgaria.

Up North

Out one night in Australia and fell on the dance floor. Tore the ligament in my knee. Still went white water rafting the next day though like an idiot!

I hurt my back drinking a glass of orange juice recently.

Really pathetic although obviously it was waiting to go and that action was the thing that made it snap.

I need to come up with a better story I might tell people I hurt it snow boarding or wrestling a shark.

Or fucking.... But orange juice ffs

Snapped my fibula playing footy years ago and had to have a plate inserted. I kept the plate as a keyring but lost it.

I got bitten by a scorpian in India once and went into a mild shock rash all over my body, breathing difficulties and my eyes were popping out of my head like this

Fell asleep in the sun once. Once only yes... 8 days later I still hadn't been able to lie down or sleep properly. You just never forget it. It hurt like mad

When i was a child i got a black eye on the first day of the holiday when a child threw a pebble into the sea but managed to throw it at my face instead !!
