How far do you bend?

When you find a profile that matches yours, but there's something you don't normally budge on. It could be various reasons. Bad experiences even good experiences e.g. Age -your able to may get on with a certain age group better. (First thing I thought of)

But what is the thing/things you will compromise on.

Distance apart? Beards? Body size? Smoking?

Beards are a no-no for me

Other than that I don't think any of my preferences (age, distance etc) are 'hard-coded' if we get on well and I like them.

Other than cleanliness - they must be clean!

Probably age, but they would have to be a very young at heart 50 something.

I don't have any other strict rules, except for bigots and racists, and I won't make exceptions for them.

I'm fairly fluid with what I look for. I have preferences set out but they are rough guidelines.

If I chat and get on with someone then it's easy to relax one or other.

I think the same. Somebody's age is only a number. Somebody attitude is a reflection of what type of person I think you are.

A few things but depends on the guy.. i wont change everything though even if he feels to be the right one i have to have my principals at times & stick to them or i get hurt

It's age for me, I make exceptions for women who display a maturity beyond their years.

But even then it's only by a few years.

I do have general preferences, but it's not as if I'm making an exception if I choose to meet.

We are flexible,to a point,on our age settings,distance is open to discussion,but we do insist on guys being able to accommodate,and sending their face pic.(even though we don't send ours n say so on our profile)

Yes it means we don't get as many meets as maybe we would like,but we can live with that.

The way I've seen it and feel If a man/woman says he's not got a fixed type or preference, and is flexible on alsorts of things here. It always looks like he'll shag anything.

If your not willing to change your preferences. Eg- I'm 41 soon (don't forget my birthday ) and those who cap at 40. Then your fussy/picky b'stard.

The problem is, with most "cheaters" is that you don't know you're being cheated on until it's too late.

There are very few people who are upfront and honest about marital situations on their profile

We've matched with the perfect couple online, met in person and it just jarred.

Similarly met with couples that due to age, distance or other criteria weren't 'right' but made us laugh and a social sounded fun and found the best playmates.

Too rigid and you can miss out on something unexpected and fantastic fun?

But u can almost always tell when someone is cheating. I have chatted to a few and got on really well then when it came to meeting things became apparent. Yes, I cannot guarantee I am meeting someone who isn't in a relationship but it's not something I would do intentionally.

I went out of my preferences before and regretted it. I have a penchant for older men, not loads older but late 30s early 40s, however once I went with a guy younger than me. Big mistake and reminded me why I prefer older guys.
