I've been musing today after having received a few new messages.

My question is this.....'what is the definition of a gentleman?' In other words what do you think a gentleman is?

A gentleman is someone who is kind and always puts the lady first. Maybe a little old fashioned, in opening doors and moving a chair out also? Very good manners also important

I would describe a gentleman as someone who is kind, considerate and respectful. Someone who talks nicely, not brash or bolshy, and who cares about a ladies feelings, even if it is just NSA.

Now if he's a gent with a naughty side when in private, then that is just perfect.

I think the word Gentleman is outdated. It came from a time when we had different expectations for men and women.

But I think everyone should be treated with respect. It's just a basic part of being a decent human.

How people treat people they see as lower than them is predictive of how they'll treat you sooner or later.

Men here seem to brand it about in messages starting with 'I'm a gent' when explored they are unsure of what one is?

I think a gentleman is someone who is respectful, kind and responds to a woman in a way that she feels respected.

It's important to note that in order to find a gentleman a woman should behave as above
