Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Please help.

Two vintage leather handbags have been calling to me from the antiquey, bric-a-brac place at the beach. Today is my last day here so I either buy one or both or none today.

Oooo handbags, I'd buy both. I'm a sucker for them. Would have a different one each day if I could x

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Both. I only have one handbag but I understand from my daughter that some women need more.

Just make sure they 'go' with stuff, else you might not use them.

Therein lies the problem. I already have enough for a different one each day for over a week. These would be very occasional use but they are beautiful objects.

If you can afford it, do it

It's nice to indulge and appreciate something special, especially if it's hand crafted

One is a red wine patterned leather and the other is the smoothest light milk chocolate brown. Both trimmed with gold clasps that make that satisfying clunk when you close the bag.

I think maybe the question has already been answered. If you just buy the one then you know the other will be perfect for the occasion in a weeks time

Can never have too many bags.

If in doubt, always go with William Morris's rules.

Looking at this from a mans perspective I would suggest a couple of bags for life from Waitrose will adequately perform the required task of a bag. Or is this truly a woman thing?

If we're counting those types of bags then I'm set for several lifetimes.

They're not that expensive - one at £18 and one at £30. That's less than me getting another pair of shoes.

Being a lover of handbag and shoes and having too many of both, I would buy both! Especially if it is something I know I won't find again then I wouldn't think twice.

All this over a couple of receptacles that if purchased will be filled with so much stuff the true contents will never ever be known. I have a theory that the universe is just a dark corner of a lady's bag purchased from a shop in the south west of England. That theory would, I am hesitant to say, explain a great detail!

Buy both buy some shoes to match and karma will be achieved!
