" Thanks mate its just I feel like everyone else can go out have a drink and laugh without feeling bad about it or worrying then getting your self in to a attack of sweating shaking with your head going a 100 miles an hour I went to my gp 4years ago and she put me on pills and tbh they do help but I still have days where I just wanna hide away for days | |||

Also 'venting' on here certainly shows a lot of courage. Guys aren't exactly helpful with each other's personal issues at the best of times let alone when they're on this site and their main motive is to get their end away! If you can, seek professional help from an expert. Support from random people on the internet is nice and demonstrates how ever alone you may feel their are people who care, however it doesn't replace expert advice. Leave the house, go for a short walk (maybe do some errands), embrace the mediocre weather we have in the UK, find private place with a nice view (there are plenty in Yorkshire) and make a phone call. Call your GP and book an appointment to discuss the best plan of action. Do the whole "deep breath" thing (even though it's clichèd and a tad dramatic). Make a promise to yourself that today is the day that you will tackle your issues instead of sweeping them out of your mind temporarily. Don't be unrealistic in your goals, accept that you will can have bad times again but that you will trend upwards and continue to improve over time | |||

I think In all honesty you should avoid drinking. I understand about you saying that you want to be like the lads but if they are good friends they will understand why it is better that you don't drink. If you are waking up and feeling that after drinking, that feeling will eventually take longer and longer to lift causing even more problems. Try and get some more sleep, get out for a walk and on Monday get an appt to see the gp, there's nothing wrong with saying you need a bit more help for the moment. Good luck op. | |||

Maybe have a soft drink after each alcoholic one too as you know drinking lots doesn't help how you feel." Cbt? And I dont drink.as.in binge but I drink.4 days a week but only 1-3pints but if iam not drinking beer its water but I do that just maybe not as much as I should eg I start water once I know iam pissed | |||
