My assumption is that due to the highly competitive environment here with men that those who succeed and remain are most likely of attractive personality and looks levels that aren't very low. Due to the thousands of men, it stands to reason that there's a large volume of high standard men.

Not right but my opinion. Men should be ripped or muscular. Not fat. modern men eat shit food and drink beer amd look like shit. Look at sculptures from hundreds of years ago. That is what a hot guy looks like.

There are some stand out aesthetically pleasing chaps on here; but, due to my preferences, I tend to notice how many goddam gorgeous ladies there are. I'm happy to note that I've been fortunate enough to discover that, in many cases, their beauty is not merely skin deep.

Actually the first part Yes too. It's not that there's not plenty of hot women on here, both to see and meet in the flesh, but considering that guys outnumber women so heavily it would be almost impossible for there to be more hot women than hot guys. Just simple maths.
