Body building takes alot of time and effort. But stick with it and I'm sure you'll see results in a few months. You should post some photos on here when you start to develope.

Just got some weights and a bench here. Taking that slowly. We do a bit of cycling during the summer. Average around 15 miles when go out on the bikes. Mrs2 bakes some exceedingly good cakes. We also enjoy camping and photography.

Recurves are technologically superior but much easier to draw, am more of a traditionalist with a 75lber. Not sure which trumps which.

I use an 85lb 56" warbow when I'm clouting. And a 70lb flatbow for field archery with 3d targets. I made my own arrows up from imported POC shafts. Turkey feathers from a local farm.

"i must be bit of a whimp, my everyday bow pulls 40lb but i also have a 55lb , do you get the aim with yours,"

My first bow was 45lb which i still have, 40lb is a good weight, not at all whimpy. They are beautiful pieces of kit, ash backed bilaminate made by a local bowyer. A smooth loose with just the hint of a kick from the heavier bow and a fine cast for clout. Aim is not a problem though getting the arrows out of a straw boss is.
