Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The Department of Education covers many things education related. If I worked there as the finance officer would it still be relevant for you to speak to me?

I think you need to be a little more specific before people will give you any help and even then they may not want to.

Would it not be better to ring them tomorrow and ask someone who can see / investigate your application?

I don't think it is a harmless question. You're asking someone to jeopardise their privacy because you can't be botherd to call the relevant department yourself.

Or you think it's a 'clever' way to get messages

Or you could ask a total random on a sex site

OP. If you'd supplied a bit more info, you may well have received the answer or near enough advice you wanted.

The Forums are often so darn good for help, just give out sufficient details for everyone to help.

Good Luck!

Well an agency called about am urgent position for the department of education. I am ex military but lost my discharge note and can't give accurate details. I lost £60 quid for a dbs check for a job application for the ministry of justice for the same reason that i havent accurate military history. so am i going to repeat history with the education department? Agency don't know so going to try ringing the dfe again.. Prat on with endless phone calls for a job that starts today. I asked on here as time is of the essence and need info before 9 am today

Yes you probably will. Your DBS should be available on line but most agencies will ask for a copy of it when you register.

Can you get copy discharge papers.

If you are going to be in contact with under 16s or vulnerable adults most departments within the Dfe will want all paperwork and DBS.
