For most part I get nice messages but have received one or two nasty messages. I let them get to me at the start but now I think fuck it they don't know me and I generally let it go over my head.

In the same way that people who send abusive message don't know you in real life, the same goes for well wishers on these forums.

Neither know you in real life so their words are a bit empty. Well wishers are often just virtue signalling to the group as thy crave affection themselves.

The internet should always be taken with a pic of salt.

As long as you block people or do what you think is correct, the all the matters.

And the classic motto of 'stick and stones' should always be paramount.

Who cares what someone said? Only truth hurts.

If your being hurt, maybe what they are saying has a kernel of truth to it.

Stuff upper lip n all that jazz !

Used to get a lot of this when I had single female profile on here just for being polite and saying no thank you. Like you're going to change your mind just because they get shitty?? Strangely, since being with my partner we hardly ever get crap on couples profile because they know they may be speaking to male half, ones that have been rude on single have been completely different!! What gives these a*seholes the right to treat women like this? They are too cowardly to behave like this with a couple or in real life! I simply meant that being in an echo chamber of virtue signallers doesn't really help you.

It can reinforce bad practices, and patting someone on the back insincerely is hardly caring about their situation is it?

Ooopsie didnt mean to delete. As i was saying... i have the same man message me abuse all the time. He threatens to expose my pics online and pay someone to do me in. I keep reporting him yet he comes back a few days later. I try not take it to heart but it is sometimes a bit scary!

I will admit I am used to receiving abusive messages, mostly from men I have never even spoke to before, they don't bother me so much now, but when I got my first load a few years ago now, I will say I was totally shocked and for some reason deeply hurt.

Now I just tell them to fuck off....plus I have other ways to piss them off more
