Is there a definitive guide

To spotting fake profiles. Seem to come across a lot of women/ couple profiles that seem to be fine one minute then disappear the next or not quite what they seem . Or is that just me scaring them off

i did make one ages ago, might make another when i'm not tired because i didn't give it a good to remember title and can't find it any more. most of the stuff was obvious to those of us with more experience.

i think the easiest way to spot them is how they talk. men do tend to talk differently online than women. men tend to go for sexual stuff early on, pic trades, sex chat etc whereas women tend not to. men tend to be more personal straight away, using endearments, than women would as they tend to use them once they get to know someone.

Someone who is not what they claim to be. I would like to think I am pretty decent looking but when someone who is absolutely stunning takes an interest in me I'm always a bit skeptical

you can reverse image search to see who the pics belong to. a guy who messaged me the other night was well hot and someone else reversed searched his pics and they are fairly well known scam ones (used by scammers).

it doesn't always work though. a lot of people trade pics and their pics get stolen that way and would never turn up on search as their pics have never been on the internet.

asking for cam and phone calls doesn't always rule people out either as plenty of genuine women do not wanna do either of those things. i don't myself.

Newer users are more likely to explore and learn what the site really is about, how it may or may not fit their needs - then change things or bugger off. Doesn't make them fake.

A good rule is to meet people socially or at clubs, so that you have more information as your disposal. And as there are so many people here, use your filters and common sense to out those who may not suit you
