American high school.

Are you also watching the series on bbc1? It is interesting and its good to see how the education system works in the usa.

Well, this show seems to be focusing a lot on their personal lives. I'm not sure if that's their take on it, or if that's how the students primarily feel about their own experience. But for me, high school was more about studying. I didn't know anyone who got pregnant and had a baby shower in the school, for example.

This school also seems to see expulsion as the answer to all their serious problems. My school didn't expel people - it helped them when they needed it.

Just seems like a bit of a different school culture.

The fights and metal detectors are about the same, though.

That is good and yeah I noticed that too that the school seem to be different from others of how they handle things and yes, it seem to focus more on daily life than studying.
