We're supposed to wash them? I just dry myself of the clean water and soap when I get out of the shower and call it good.

Depends.

When the family were at home it was clean towels every day.

Im on my own so it's a change of towel once a week.

I bathe twice a day so the towel is clean and it's dried on a hot radiator so ... once a week is enough.

If I had skin conditions etc..... it'd be every use.

Once used they may get used as a floor mat supplement or be used a couple of times. But I don't keep towels damp, they're going to get nasty. A refuge from hotel living, I often just keep using a fresh, new one.

If you ever run out of dust or stuff to clean I have lots here.

I wash the towels once a week, generally, but if I've been mucky then then they get washed sooner. I have enough towels to use a different one every day for more than week if I felt the need to use them only once.

I do 2 to 3 wash loads of towels each week.

We all have our own bath towels and we have clean ones approx every 5 days.

We all bath at least once a day so the towels are used on very clean bodies and the house has heating so the towels dry quickly and never smell.

The hand towel in the bathroom is changed every day.

We use a clean flannel every time we bath.

The hand towels, tea towels, dishclothes and the little scratchy cleaning sponges used in the kitchen are changed at least once a day but usually more often.

I do all this automatically.

I have an XXL washing machine, I can do my king size duvet in it no bother.

Towels I wash when I need to really. I live alone, I have tons of the bloody things, so I tend to do a big towel wash once every few weeks.

Hand towels in bathroom and kitchen are changed a couple of times a week and if I need to I just chuck them in with my normal wash (because of XXL machine I only do 1 wash a week-10 days which is great!)

"How often do you do it? "
