Simply post any fond memories of items you just don't see much of or use anymore

I'll start with

The big brightly coloured metal jugs that held water in at school dinner time(not seen one since)

Space hoppers and pogo sticks

Raleigh choppers

Teapots(everything's made in a cup pretty much now)

Porridge with a skin and sugar on top on those bitter winter school days

Pg tips monkey egg cups(still got mine)

The Generation Game, Swap Shop, Going Live, Philipa Forrester (phwaor). Staying out playing hide and seek in the streets until it went dark, climbing trees, walking home from school in all weathers and mum being in when we got home.

Toys in cereal boxes and the little cards at the bottom of the PG Tips box - My Grandad would always let me get them out. So much nostalgia right there...

Memories are good with me, just wanted a happy thread instead of all the moany ones

I'd quite happily list 1976 as a good memory for it's endless summer
