Black cats and voodoo dolls.

Which ones do you follow and which ones do you think are garbage?

I will go out of my to see more than one magpie.

Don't believe in the black cat crossing your path one.

I don't believe in any. It's all a bit silly.

But when I was younger I always knocked on wood if someone jynxed me. I remember my whole basketball team doing it before every game. Sports seem to breed superstition.

Yep still do that one only I touch my head if there is no wood around lol

I'm not slightest bit superstitious, apart from crossing fingers if passing someone on stairs, touching wood (gfaw,gfaw), ladders, talking to magpies etc..

I walked past about 20 of the things yesterday... one for sorrow, two for joy.. yada yada yada.. but what the saying for that amount?! Lol

As I own a black cat them I'd say they are lucky, I don't walk under ladders but that's cos I don't want to come a cropper. I do touch wood or my head to protect myself from hexes. crossing people on the stairs isn't that just polite? That's about it.

In bird watching circles that would be called a parliament of magpies I,ve seen once as many as 70 before years back usually in the auturm winter months they gather together.
