I upgraded and went from apple to Samsung. Ive had the phone a day and just wanted some advice of others that have a galaxy s7, have any of you noticed but my phone when using gets really hot. I put it down tonight as mid text convo it almost became too hot to hold. Anyone else had this

My S7 Edge sometimes gets a bit warm when charging but not just from everyday use. Are you using it while it's charging/plugged in at all?

I have the alpha and s4....i upgraded to the s7 but there wasn't anything new only upgraded for me so i sent it back......but i did notice when i charged it that it got really hot, i thought too hot.

I'm waiting for a note to come out.

A friend at work says the A3 has near enough the same speck as the S7 but a lot cheaper

I noticed mine does get pretty hot but not so much I can't use it, worse when charging and using it at same time x

I wasn't charging at the time no but had to put it down. I've just put it on charge and it's just as hot if not hotter.

I'm not happy with this at all gonna call them Monday and send it back.

Had same issue with my note 3. Mate who works for samsung told me to conect to laptop and do a software update and close all background apps when not in use. Seems to have worked

My s3 got hot towards the end...a great wee pocket warmer...upgraded to an A5...not much different to an S7 spec wise...if at all. Seems to be good so far

EE very helpful today they are sending me a new phone will be here in the morning. They agree it sounded like a software issue if it happens again I'm going to use my right to cancel the contract.
