If you want a direct connection. Look for a otg adapter if you have an android

I'm not sure you can directly you will need to upload the video to a device with a USB port like your laptop.

Does your phone have the ability to add storage on a micro SD?? Save to the SD card then use an SD converter (usb) or card reader to move to the pc

Drop box is your best option, and then you can save from any computer / laptop onto your USB.

If it uses a Micro USB slot. Just Google micro usb otg adapter

They won't. It's as safe as you want it to be/look after

Far easier just to store the things you want onto Dropbox I'm the meantime

Assuming your phone is from this decade the "charge port" is a usb port
