Is it bad I've never been to a wagamama before

Bit late as we have already booked it but is ready a good night out?

Not a night out for me per se, more functional - Good food, in out done!

I could recommend somewhere, but it's absolutely nowhere near Reading

Traffic land

Do you like cocktails? Be at One does great cocktails and if you're there before 7, it's 2 for 1.

I like the bar at the Malmaison Hotel and the Pitcher and Piano, but if you head to the Riverside at the Oracle, there are lots of bars there.

Depends what kind of evening you're looking for?

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Malmaison is great food.

If you wanted other entertainment you may have to make your own.

The A329 out of town

Just kidding, it's a lovely place really

As has been mentioned already the busiest / buzziest place will be the bars / restaurants around the Riverside / Oracle.

Be prepared to remortgage though if you're planning on parking your car in the Oracle car park

Have fun and enjoy!

Reading

Depends what you are looking for. It's got the usual big chain eateries by the river/Oracle, also recommend Smokin Billy's for Mexican, or all you can eat at Cosmo, but be prepared to que on a Saturday night. Pub wise, Outlook is good if you want somewhere quiet, or the Purple Turtle if you want lively. Licence till 4am too......

It's only £3.50 if you park after 6pm in the Oracle
