We stumbled upon someone who we both know, we had a conversation about it. Agreed to keep each other's secret and blocked each other. We had no desire to meet so it was the best way.

Depends on how you want to interact with said people, if its your sexy neighbors and you want to fuck them then yeh declare yerself or if it's uncle dick and aunt fanny then maybe patch them.

I think it depends who it is. I got talking to a guy who moved in the same social circle as me and its reignited a friendship that had dwindled a bit.
