Was listening to a lot of the indy stuff people have mentioned (Blur, Oasis, Suede, etc) but was just shifting to rock and metal, so probably listening to more Guns N Roses and Iron Maiden.

Think that was the year Machine Head released "Burn My Eyes".

The metalheads here will definitely remember that album.
