If you could resurrect....

one person, who would it be?

I had this conversation with my friends recently and found it to be quite interesting. Would it be someone like Sir Isaac Newton who was a genius, a man with an unusual brain. Brought up to speed with modern knowledge, he might be able to come up with new discoveries. Others mentioned were Einstein, Mozart, Marie Curie, family members and David Bowie. Would you choose someone only you would benefit from or someone the world may benefit from?

My answer was Elvis Presley because I grew up with his music and just loved to watch him perform and also my beautiful grandmother.

Aside from selfish choices like family and close friends, I would go with an inspirational figure like Martin Luther King.

Although it is possible that their martyrdom made more happen in their absence, I believe he would have continued in furthering his dream.

My Dad. It's been nearly 20 years and I'd love to have that Father/Daughter relationship as an adult woman.

the same for me my dad was killed in Northern Ireland when I was 18 months old so I have no memories of him at all.

My father died 21 yrs ago. He didn't want me though so he can stay where he is. I hope you have a good mother/daughter relationship.

Without a dawt my sister who was killed 14 years ago in a crash and all because the arse wipe who was driving thought he knew best while driving abroad. Luckily if that word can be used she was the only fatalitie as there was a 3 day old baby in the car they hit. I know it's selfish of me but her kids can't even remember what she looked like now 1 of them was only 8 at the time.

Horrified by how little progress has been made more like. I have been lucky enough to meet a lot of really lovely US folk, but there is still barely concealed racism over there in so many middle to southern states.

But that's beside the point that I reckon he would have made equality closer than it is now.

I don't think I'd resurrect anyone for myself as I haven't lost any immediate family yet (touch wood). For my ex I'd resurrect his mum who died yesterday morning and for my dad I'd resurrect his dad who died when he was 4. I don't remember my grandparents being particularly happy people so I'm not sure they'd appreciate the disturbance.
