Ok is it just me this happens to or are women on here really bad at writing first messages?

The guys seem to put a lot more effort into being conversational while the women's messages are either dull one liners or even monosylabic.

Ive only ever approached a guy first on one occasion. I think I did rather well - read the profile, looked at the pics, read the veris, looked at the pics, gave thought to the suitability/compatibility whilst reviewing the pics. Only then did I draft a very lovely message responding to profile points, attempting both wit and humour, attach a face photo and sit back nervously and wait. Whilst I waited, I looked at the pics. It all went very well. That was almost a year ago and we still talk now so can't be too bad at it

Do I like making the first approach? No I don't and I don't think I will be doing it again

Some Women tend to think that because they get alot of interest from men in places like this they dont feel the need to try.

So they get lazy and any messages they send will usually get a reply even if its just a Hi.

So if a simple Hi usually works then they feel whats the point in saying anything more? But they still expect well thought out messages from the guys though don't they?

The same as some women demand the man to send a face photo first while they decide if they will send one in return or not?

Whilst alot of men in here are prepared to jump through hoops and pander to their one sided demands for the chance of a fuck then these types of women aren't going to change their attitudes.

I give respect to those that I think deserve it, but they don't ask for it.

I'm still blown away that some women have to 'ask' for respect on their page though.

I think its probbaly due to the fact that as mentioned above they could probbaly just message "x" and get a reply 99% of the time where as a man dping such wpuld just be deleted.

But i find an opening message that is simply a statement annoying as it becomes very difficult to reply in any meaningfully conversational way.

Usualy I'll send an ewually brief "sexy" or something back which hilariously goes read and unreplied

actually I would agree with you OP to an extent, always see posts/comments/profiles slating guys 1st messages but many (not all) females and couples are just as bad. But the way Fab works generally females and couples need to put less effort in when approaching a single guy. Everyone just as bad as each other

On my single profile nearly all of my meets were a result of me sending the first message. If I recall correctly I always used multiple word sentences, sometimes even a whole paragraph!

Op be greatful you even get a 1st message its hard enough getting a reply most the time with the amount of male wasters clogging up girls inboxes with mind less tripe . Iv been here a few weeks now and the msg zone was pritty dry was losing all faith until miss harleen quinzel popped up. The messages from single ladies that I receive are good 95% of the time.

They all show that they've read my profile and I know this because everyone mentions panama hats and on my old profile they've always mentioned ham and cheese toasties

Couples on the other hand...they never read the profile

Perhaps some should remember that 50% of a couple is usually also a female who maybe also doesn't like first messaging or the rejection but has to deal with it.

i've always said if an attractive looking guy said hi to me i'd be happy enough to reply to that and initiate conversation with him.

things is, and this isn't just fab it's the internet in general (and probably life outside of it as well, idk i don't bother with that any more) lesser attractive guys are gonna have to make more effort.

and all presumptuous messages are the biggest turn off ever, i get a lot of those. doesn't matter what the guy looks like, i ain't interested.
