Hiding in the Barnes

No one (ish) ever meet at the drop of a hat.

First meet is always agreed and planned ahead; Am I right??.

So..why some woman don't want to meet if they only live couple of hours of train away.

Hereabouts

Maybe it's not the distance that's making them not want to meet?

Good call, I've spent a total of five hours traveling for a meet and was worth it.

But I know what I'm working a month in advance, and it's never the same.

It's all about compromise so just go with the flow and not be pushy mate

Because a few hours on a train can be £100+ in travel costs.

just the fact you haven't got a car will put most people off.

on POF you can say if you have a car or not and most guys have figured the above out so if they don't have a car they put 'rather not say' which tells us they don't have a car anyway.

Tbf in london a car is about the slowest way to get anywhere when you factor in trying to find a parking spot :p

The journey - That's just one reason

There maybe other aspects that add up to someone's decision. Or just accept there reasoning.

he's talking a couple of hours train drive. probably would be quicker in a car?

i forgot to say that most people also don't like guys to travel too far to them either. not sure why but i'm the same myself, i just want regular meets and someone far away isn't gonna be able to meet me enough.

If the desire is there, then distance shouldn't be a problem

it is though. i've got someone just over an hours drive away saying he wants to see me as often as possible. it's not gonna happen is it.

I wouldn't travel 2 hours for a meet. I used to do it when at uni and my bf lived elsewhere. We'd spend the weekend together then the journey home on a bumpy train would be torture for my tender lady parts!

Halifax

Many people like social meets first op and a couple of hours is a long way to come ,for what might just be a drink .
