.... all things cuckold etc. are a mystery to me really so please excuse my ignorance.

My understanding of things is this...

Wishy is correct with regards the female of the couple.

The term Bull was not originally derived from the animal but from the term Bully, someone who controls and dominates others, orders them about, tells them what to do, makes others feel small, threatens and humiliates even. So a female in this situation would still be a Bull.
