So two individuals have paid SpaceX to fly them around the moon next year (see news sites).

Who would go if they had the money?

I suspect you are right .. Elon is never very good at time estimates.

However even if it slips it would still be fantastic.

Imagine being up there all alone looking out at the moon whilst having some fun

Absolutely, I would jump at the chance to fly in low earth orbit, let alone out to the moon.

Much as it would be an amazing adventure no I wouldn't go .....

But I would be open to having my last remains scattered in outer space....
