Hemp rope vs cotton rope

Hi guys, I'm really new to decorative rope bondadge and I'm wondering is hemp rope more stiffer than Cotten.

Hull but travel regularly

I have both and use the soft cotton for decorative rope designs and jute for what I consider 'proper' bondage. You know what I mean, one pretty one functional, one easy on the bunny one evil
