I've bed advised I need a hysterectomy and a tad apprehensive

I've had an endometrial ablation but unfortunately the doctor has said he doesn't think it will work particularly well due to a variety of reasons. So it's been done and a coil fitted at the same time. If this doesn't work then everything out!
