How I see the Oscars is that the least important awards go to the films that the public would mainly go and see and the most important go to the films the public would not.

When Wall-e was nominated, I had high hopes for that film as it was nominated 6 times and only won 1 for best animated film which is just a measly kiddie award in my opinion. I still remember the uproar from the public when Wall-e was cast aside seeing that all the Oscars were hoovered by Slumdog Millionaire.

Not watching it. I guarantee not to be watching La La Land......nor probably many of the nominated twaddle. May watch some of them, but not because of any oscars/nominations. I choose myself what I do/don't watch.

.

Actually that's not strictly true.....I've been "persuaded" by a fellow fabber to escort her to watch that new comedy film...... Shifty Fades Darker or something...... and she reckons it's my turn to buy dinner! Cheeky Mare! (Her turn to cook breakfast tho I think?)
