Even if they produce results from tests that show a negative, isn't a guarantee. Infections can have an incubation period from 2 weeks to 3/6 months. Yes, condoms aren't 100% safe, but they do help to prevent a lot of transmissions, if used correctly. There are special anal ones that are stronger. Also, if you think you've been exposed to HIV, there is Prep to help prevent it from developing. Go to your local GUM clinic for advice. | |||

But they were married (over 15 years) with two kids. One day she found out she had genital herpes and it really confused her. Then she found out he had been having an affair for over a year, and only he knows how many one-night-stands in between. He got herpes from his mistress and passed it on to his wife unknowingly. The point being, of course, that not all married guys who are cheating on their partners worry about bringing home an STI. I think the OP should rethink his strategy. | |||
