Is it just me or do other feel not very adult like most of the time? I still laugh at silly jokes, wonder how the world works and am often surprised if people take things I do and say serious. i am good at hiding the last bit fairly well especially at work but still. am I alone with that feeling??

Nope not alone at all. I still feel 16 and all this adulting is quite scary at times.

I don't think I'll ever fully grow up. I'm supposed to be a lady now and I still laugh at farts and toilet humour

i've got 4 kids, bills, and a strong sense of responsibility. i feel very much like an adult unfortunately. although it is fun being childish at times.

not sure it has to do with responsibilities though. although I have to say that it might change with children. but I can easily have a conversation about suicide or whatever and go back to the office laughing at pee or poo or whatever jokes

i feel very grown up and serious most of the time, that's what that meant. like i can hardly let my hair down and feel 'free' whatever that means coz idk any more it's been that long.

no OP I don't think you are...

I'm 51 with a 12 yr old son and we have a very similar, and silly sense of humour...

I often wonder when I will start to grow up..
