little house on the praire

Ok, a couple of posts today have made me think back to fashions.

Tiered gypsy skirts with white petticoat hanging below, tights and white ankle socks. School skirt with really thick waist band and it had to be the right lenght to kick your heels in the back. Mulit coloured wedges, hessian bags (yes there back) flipping football scarves

Bay city roller gear.

Capped sleeves and grandad shirts

to name but a few

I had a curly perm (mum was a hairdresser) in the 70s when the jacksons were all the rage

Would not do it now though would not want to damage my long flowing locks xx

afgan coats and carpet coats

platform shoes and boots, mine were burnt orange

cordoroy trousers , yuck.

and flares.

I had hair down to my bum but now it's only halfway down my back .... used to wear long fingerless gloves out too way back lol xxx
