I confided in my female close friend about me being bi and showed her my Fab profile.

She never batted an eyelid, wasnt even shocked or surprised and didn't judge at all.

That is how a true friend should react. I'm very lucky to have her in life.

I told my best friends fairly recently. One was shocked, one was very worried about the safety aspect and the other one was intrigued. The one who was shocked understood a little more by the end of the conversation. Not one of them has fallen out with me or judged me in anyway.

Not meeting

Quite a few of my friends know. Some were surprised as I'd spent 20 yrs with 1 man but understood I needed to live a little. I had to check in with them after a meet.

My parents also know as my ex-husband & his partner have since created a profile on here & I'd rather they heard it from me & not him. I did say I used it as a dating site though..... Then I met Frank on here & they think I stopped

My best friend introduced us to this kind of thing, we were intrigued, at first we were sceptical but it's grown and grown and now we love it.

About 6 months after she told me we ended up doing some very naughty stuff in my garden one hot summers night, it only happened a handful of times and didn't interfere with our friendship and Sam rather enjoyed himself with us both

i have one normal friend who know stuff but the truth is playful its hard enough for a guy with my sexuality on sites like this where people are meant to be more liberal.

I hate to think what kind of looks and question I'd have asked if my normal friends got a sniff of my sexuality .

some thing are best kept to yourself unless you want everyone talking about you behind your back because suddenly your the different one. been there before as a young man never want to go back there ,so I think its best to keep my sexuality under wraps around my normal world friends .

It's something that doesn't really need to be common knowledge, to be totally honest I'm not sure we would be as open if we had kids. As it is our lives are our own and the choices we make don't impact on anyone else so we don't hide our open status

I've told a friend of mine and she wasn't judgemental, although she did have lots of questions.

To be honest, though, I like friends who will call me out when they see fit. If one of my friends thinks I'm acting wrongly, then I respect them more if they tell me and we can talk it out. The best kind of friend for me is one who tells me an opposing viewpoint when it's warranted, but doesn't let that opposing viewpoint impact our friendship at all. And I've surrounded myself with those people.

I think the difference for us is that H has always been bi & open about it with family, Also because of this our friends from her side tend to be more open with their sexuality & less judgemental. My friends are mainly bikers who are pretty laidback about most things.

It's such a shame people are scared away by some disrespectful idiots on here. Personally I don't let anything anyone says that is negative, derogatory, disrespectful, get to me. Nor do I take any notice of those who judge me for my circumstances. A lot of it stems from jealousy and it says more about them as a person than it does me.

Well said I agree 100% with you I have been a widower for 3 years I still care what people may think of Me, as my wife would not have been into this Site, I am now doiñg what is right for me.
