Great; the album pretty much follows the book. The 1950's film isn't too bad ............ but it's written in typical Victorian style and I love it

A character from another book ....... Phileas Fogg! Can't really dress as a forty foot fire breathing, death dealing armoured alien can I? Lol

I'm not entirely sure who I would dress up as though. Author-wise I'd want to be Poe. Character... no idea.

Life On The Mississippi - Mark Twain.

Before he became a journalist and writer, Mark Twain trained as a steam boat pilot on the Mississippi and it's his thoughts and remembrances of one of the world's greatest rivers in its steam heyday. Like an American Dickens with the same wit, warmth and humanity.

I'm not big on dressing up, but I'm going to choose Bertie Wooster as it's in keeping with the theme and, well, red socks.

Big fan of Mark Twain...had a real wit.

Jeeves & Worcester...brilliant. Laurie & Fry did such a good adaptation to tv...

I adore Micheal Murpurgo ,Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton, books are the greatest gifts you can give a child . The horrible histories are just splendid too
