"Huge fan here. Think he's a pretty amazing guy, incredible body of work behind him not just music but a lot of great writing too (fiction, music criticism, autobiography, antiquarianism). Never rests on his laurels, always moves forward. Respect too for having no truck with revivalism or cashing in on 80's nostalgia. 'Peggy Suicide' & 'Jehovahkill' are my favourite albums by him, saw him live in '93 but was too young and didnt know enough of his work to fully appreciate him

Want to read his novel and 'The Modern Antiquarian' (bloody expensive!) I'll get round to it eventually. I'm rubbish at going to gigs these days to be honest, i'm far too disorganised so I always forget about them and miss them. | |||
