There's some big numbers up there, well done the ones still going!

27 years for me (25 married), still friends.

I often think that it would be sensible to make marriage contracts for 5 years. At which point both parties need to sign up for another period.

It would force people to properly evaluate if it's the right thing to do. Maybe it would get people to renegotiate, and carry on in a slightly different way.

I think after 40 years it would be ok to put it onto a rolling renewal...!

ummmm 6 years.

I frequently get dumped though, I'm just about tolerated.

In all seriousness...the type I go for, as in to actually date, tend to fiery temper personalities, which means the relationship is by default quite volatile.

I'm fine left to my own devices, it's when they move in that's when the issues start, because we're under each others feet.

My whole family know it and have said, I'm fine when we live in seperate houses, it's when they move in with me, when it all goes to shit.
