I was talking to a few mates the other day, it dawned on me I had known a mate since I was 4.

How long have you known you oldest mate.

I've known one since I was about 6months old.. but I class them as "family friends" rather than a proper mate mate! (If that makes any sense?!)

A friend I have made myself, with no school/uni link would be around 17 yrs x

10 years. I moved away from my home town when I met Adam and it was too far to keep in touch with anyone even if I had wanted to.

So Adam is my oldest friend that I still see in person. He's also the only person I like to socialise with regularly ha ha.

My friends know I'm a recluse most of the time and prefer being alone with my family.

Eve x

One mate I've known for 42 years; don't see him often but we carry on chatting as if there'd been no time at all since we'd last talked whenever we bump in to each other. I still chat to couple of army mates I've known for 27 years too.
