Why are some people so rude on here they just seem to message for no reason but to instigate an argument with no interest in mutual fun etc & are miles away .

Not sure on the rest but your profile does say will travel, perhaps put how far in your text if travelling distance is an issue?

We are not all here for the same thing. Some of the posts on here make me question whether I am actually the same species as some on this site.

Some people just like getting a reaction, it's a twisted game for their own entertainment. Just block and move on.

Depends on the context. Are these people you have approached?

If people message me and I can tell they blatantly haven't read my profile, then I have been known to be extremely rude.

You are right but your reply does not answer the OP's question.

I believe the Facebook and Twitter generation, who almost never meets face to face, feels empowered to poke fun and hurt others from behind their cloak of anonimity. It's a form of schadenfreude. This helps them with their own deep seated feelings of inferiority.

For example, many men (where i have most experience) feel all powerful wanking to a porn film where a woman is fucked by 3 men. They imagine themselves there matching the others thrust for thrust, their cock reaching out before them like a porn stud.

So they ask to join a group meet. All is well until it gets to the night before and they know the cold light of reality will show their lie.

They will be nervous and not get hard or they will not be able control themselves and cum in a minute like a teenager on their first date. Other men will be harder, bigger, fuck more forcefully and have better techniques. All this confirming what they know in their hearts to be true. So they back out and say nothing. They block or go "unlos".

So the rudeness is to camouflage their own inadequacy. We should feel sorry for them. And yes, the block button is your friend.

Perhaps they are hundreds of miles away and want a meet now.

I think what you are describing are bullies in a different form but bullies none the less.

You excellent post applies outside of cyber land and into real life too.

Basically bullies are usually people who have deep rooted issues of varying descriptions and direct their hatred and lack of self worth onto others in the misguided hope that it in some way will ease their self loathing.

Some people thrive on being negative and abusuve. I put most of it down to jealousy.

Personally I find it entertaining, it certainly doesn't offend or upset me. Some people are keyboard warriors and wouldn't dare say half the things they say on here, out in the real world.

I never say anything that I wouldn't say face to face to someone.

Don't let people get to you, this is meant to be all about fun.

Excellent post. Interesting to read the "male reason" from a female perspective.

Awaiting the "female reason" from a male perspective, for balance of course.

Thank you for your kind comment. I have only missed one meet in 4 years and i really was in bed with genuine sickness. I would hate to stand up others like so many have stood me up.

Somewhere over the Rainbow

Block button works well. I used it yesterday. I opened a message, part way through reading it when my phone rang so didn't reply immediately. Then within 2 minutes I get another from this same person having a go at me, saying I could've had the decency to reply, manners cost nothing etc etc. I told him I was on the phone and to stop being so arsy with people. Idiot
