Ok so I'm full of cold and I was going to have a hot toddy before bed and I don't have any honey, so my question is.

If I add a shot of whisky to a lemsip does that count as a hot toddy?

No sorry PP! I sympathise with your plight but whisky should only be d*unk on its own. Just have the lemsip first and then nurse a double whisky! Good luck

Stick your head over a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel and steam.

Unless you're feeling achy there's little point in taking a paracetamol, it isn't a decongestant.

Have a nip of whisky before bed, help you drift off.

Oh and pop some Olbas Oil on your pillow.

Warmed lemonade (or 7 up) trust me it does work. Then the whiskey. Then some more whiskey.

Wrap up warm, stay hydrated (not purely with whiskey) and take it as a superb excuse to feel indulgently grumpy and watch crap telly.
