As a neutral and a fan of football, I really think it's time for change. There's a really talented bunch of players (allegedly) that can't come together as a team.

What are Bournemouth doing with Jack Wilshere that Arsenal aren't? Keeping him fit and playing, he's been outstanding while on loan there and a huge miss at the Emirates.

I think there needs to be fresh ideas at the club, with a younger mind at the helm. There are so many coaches who have surpassed Mr Wenger in tactical nous and flexibility. Money is obviously not the issue, it's how it's being spent (or not) as the case seems to be.

My affiliation to the Gunners goes back to the days of Bertie Mee......

I think Arsenal missed out on Wenger's natural successor when the failed to court Klopp....

But in reality yes it's time for Arsene to move aside but only if a manager of equal stature to those other financially affluent clubs have attracted in recent times...

Wenger has always been one of the most civilised and protective managers . He has a class about him , and won't have a bad word said about the club , or the players . This is commendable , but it seems that this is being abused somewhat now .

Too many players don't seem to give a shit now , which is deplorable . Can you really blame Wenger ? Possibly as he may be too soft on the players .....

Would a new manager fare any better ? Probably not for a while , look at Man.Utd , Liverpool , Man City .

But in the long term , maybe a new manager would get the team back to winning trophies .

I think Wenger will quit at the end of the season.

Then the problems will really start. The current board have never been in the position of recruiting a new manager.

What's the betting they'll cock it up a couple of times before they get it right.

Too many of the current squad are either not good enough or not pulling their weight.

Ozil wants a new £300k a week contract? He doesn't do enough earn the one he's currently got.

He should have gone when he won the FA Cup in 2014 but when he didn't and decided to sign a new deal I thought ''maybe he's going to say fuck it and put all his energy into being competitive in the league and CL'. How wrong was I.

Like someone else has said, the issue isn't him it's with the support structure none of whom have any considerable experience in football. A new man may come in, but who:

Identifies targets

sells the vision

gets deals over the line

ATM Arsene is doing 5-6 jobs because he is a control freak and the Board don't have the knowledge to help him out or hold him to account.

When the ex Celtic CEO interviewed for the job that Gazidis now holds he turned it down because Wenger was on the interview panel and the lines of accountability were all messed up. That's the power the man holds within the club

It's a bit like Ranieri at Leicester (but over a longer period, obviously) - previous success means that there is reluctance to do what must be done.

He's earned the right to go out on his own terms, but maybe someone should have encouraged him to make that choice a little while ago.

That said, anybody making Piers Morgan angry and/or upset is doing the planet a massive favour, so on balance...Wenger in!
