"No 6 definately insn`t sloe because the blackthorn bush that sloes grow on are deciduous i.e. they drop their leaves. Sloe gin is made by adding sloes and sugar to a "finished" gin, starting a second fermentation process. A friend of mine does something similar with whisky and blackberries!
