Question for the ladies

When I guy messages you, and he's not for you, why is it most wait for the guy to go offline before deleting his message, I asked the mrs this a while back and she couldn't really give a straight answer for it, are you avoiding an abusive second message cause you deleted the first one maybe?

In truth I either pounce on a message cause I'm actually on top on keeping my inbox clear, or its read up to 3 days later cause I'm drowning in messages.....

If it's the latter then that's why!

I wouldn't know. I rarely delete anything ..I'm just too lazy...but every now and then I bulk delete. ..I don't check to see if all the senders are online or not though

Absolutely and utterly this. I find if I am spending time on the forums, messages will build up at a rate of knots and it then becomes a chore to go through them all, so I will do it at a time when I'm least likely to get swamped with new messages as I reply.

I doubt very much that it's a deliberate ploy by any woman here. I certainly don't have time to do all that checking and I delete/block/reply with impunity.

I scan my messages every morning, I reply to the ones I want to n bulk delete the rest. Xxx

I have no issues with deleting or blocking whilst the sender is online. Generally because it's clearly evident they have not read my profile and included my "trigger" word. A sender is more likely to get a reply of no thank you and my reasons if they have taken time to produce a well thought out message and included my trigger. Most then do reply with a thank you for responding and are appreciative of where they stand. Goodness girls I'm sure we would never be off the site if we responded to every single approach.
