Is blocking seen as an acceptable method of shortlisting or is it always too harsh and or rude?

If there's a number of profiles that don't tickle your fancy, currently there's no other way to prevent them appearing in the search results.

Blocking is an accepted fab tradition, where no reasons have to be given. If not compatible, it is ok to block with or without any messages to others you've already had communication with.

We only block for really rude approaches. Fair enough.

I only ever block people who are verbally abusive towards me or who won't take no for an answer.

I only tend to block for annoying persistence, abuse or that kind of thing. I don't really block that frequently apart from to counter-block when I spot I have been blocked. Avoids any accidental contact later on if they remove it for some random reason.

I've just been blocked by a guy this evening, because I said there was no interest on my part.

I guess he blocks all who knocks him back.

Good for him, he won't waste his or my time by messaging again in a couple of months.

Don't think it is rude

there is nothing to discuss

different people block others for a myriad of reasons ..I don't see it as rude either, its just natural selection for swingers
