Where do you put your hands

When taking a Fab selfie (or a pic with a special friend), what do you do with your hands?

I always find hand position really difficult to seem natural, so I now try and have my hands doing some sort of action or "activity"

I always try and have one of my arms out of shot anyway due to tattoo hiding. Other than that I just let them do what they want although many a good photo has been ruined by my weirdly bendy fingers in the process.

With regards to hands in photos OP. I generally just leave them at the end of my arms.

I know what you mean especially when doing something full length where you have the camera on a timer.

The number of times I've had a 'camp' arm just sat there and had to start again

I only have one free usually (the other is holding my phone) so rest it on my chest, chin or mouth. I do find that I never really know what to do with it though

I hide my arms due to wrist tattoos. So I always just lol like a torso!

I have this issue, I dislike my hands and never know where to place them. Maybe having them holding / doing something is the way forward.

If I can't decide on a specific stance or pose, I use a camcorder, continuously running, then try a few different things. Quicker & more flexible, than a still camera & timer.

The footage can be reviewed and screenshots taken of the best bits. HD frames are plenty good enough for profile pics.

Depends really, sometimes I can't decide and spend ages deleting and retaking photos. Sometimes I want them behind me really but then you look armless.

Generally grabbing a body part or one in and one out...for couple's pics, touching each other in some way. Op keeping your hands busy is a good thing
