I currently have 7 friends on my list, and that's after 5 or so years

I would rather meet someone than add strangers

Licketysplits came into being 5 years ago next month but I had friends from when I was here on a couples profile and then the single profile that came after we split. So, to answer the question, it was 9 months after joining on the couples profile and those two remain on my friends list six years later.

I don't understand why people want to add friends of friends

good to know everyone else is making friends. i do not know how much longer i staying only had two people to every time i rejoined over 3 years trying this site who where two couple not listed..

OP, I think sometimes people focus too much on adding friends and getting replies on here. Even though I'm a single woman, I've always taken the approach of just chilling on the forums and making friends and yes, meeting, that way.

I've been here over 4 years.

Friends come and go.

atm I have 10 on the list, met all of them but 2.

Very rarely add anyone too it.

I see well i stopped send mail out for now due to it being a waste of time it seems..

I think I've got 20 or so on my friends list - some are people I already knew from my couple account, some are people I've met, some are nice people I chat to casually every so often, some I'm chatting to and would definitely or potentially like to meet ... and 2 or 3 that have 'fizzled out' that I really should clear out. Absolutely no randoms at all.

My block list is many, many times longer ...

My friends list is always going to be as big as it should be. I don't block anyone anymore.

I might have done it in the past as retaliation.

I think ignoring people seems to get them more wound up on here anyway.
