Sleeveless on women, all year round if they want (which I do, because my office always has the heating way too high).

I am "that" person in the office who is always cold, so short sleeves and sleeveless in the height of summer only for me. I'm not selfish though and know it's harder to cool down than keep warm in a shared space, so always have a spare cardigan and jacket on my chair. My heating at home is currently on nearly thirty five degrees

An old boss told one of my male colleagues off for wearing a short sleeved shirt. Told the young guy that he looked like a photocopier repairman, as they are the only men who wear such shirts for work

I politely told my boss he was being a dick and said to the guy he should wear whatever he likes.

Short sleeves as long as there is no tie.

Saggy or fat arms are best covered up

That's just how I am

I've got naturally big forearms

Because I've never had a manual job and never seen the inside of a gym the top part of my arms aren't toned and with increasing years are not as tight as they used to be

So I wear clothes in a manner that suit my build / body

Keratosis pilaris. Really common skin condition caused by over production of keratin. Most people grow out of it; I didn't. But luckily it's only really the top bit of my arms that are affected. It flares up on occasion, is worse in the winter and since my skin is so naturally pale it shows up.

In my old workplace I used to wear long sleeved shirts but the sleeves were always rolled up.

I'd be on the phone with a pen in my mouth my boss would open my door:

BOSS: Looking good Ben

ME: Phone in one hand to my head ...**Sticks middle finger up**...with the other.

Then he just used to walk off and deliberately leave my door open...(Which I hated)

He was a GREAT boss though. The BEST and I miss that place.

I'm almost tempted to go back sometimes.

I don't even own a long sleeve shirt. When the new company uniform was being sorted, I insisted on short sleeves.

Wearing top and tails as best man, my cuffs were not connected to my shirt!

As a civy at a veterans' funeral, it was short sleeves under the suit and Crombie. He would have understood.

As you can probably guess, I don't do long

Shudders. I really don't like seeing men in a suit jacket with a short sleeved shirt underneath.

How would you know ? "

The cuff on a shirt should protrude beyond the suit jacket.

Sleeveless on women in the winter - yay or nay?

"

Yay for both if a person feels confident and comfortable in what they are wearing, then who I am to say any different.

No, not for me.

Missing cuffs and every time they move their arms you see bare arms.

I've short sleeve shirts that I wear for work during the summer or in hot climates. I also have some different ones I wear on holiday. Frankly I like them and don't give a monkeys what anyone else thinks. I have some great long sleeved ones too that look good cuffed or rolled up. Again, I wear what I like and don't give any sway to the views of others except those whose views matter to me, and even then I reserve the right to completely ignore them.

As for women they can wear whatever they like, whenever they like as long as they enjoy wearing it and feel comfortable in it. Does that mean I always like the look - no - but they aren't doing it to please me so meh

Short sleeves on a muscled, possibly tattooed bicep...drool...otherwise no, no, no!

I'm constantly wrapped up outside the house as I'm always cold. In the office it's long sleeves, cardigan and hot water bottle
