So, historically, swinging was predominantly a couples 'game', mainly played out in clubs or amongst friends who knew each others 'secret'.

Obviously with advent of sites such as FAB, it has introduced many others to the potential pleasures (and pitfalls) of being a 'swinger'

So with this shift, has it removed any of your pleasure from the scene or has it opened up more delightful opportunities ? Or maybe a bit of both ?

Or, for an alternative perspective , have you only become involved in swinging since the availability of online introductions to the scene ?

yes. ...I think I'd find it too much hard work doing it the old fashioned way. Hubby and I are quite specific in what we are looking for and that's much easier to find online.

We are relative newcomers, but we visited a local club a few times before we even knew about Fab.

The biggest advantage of a club is that all the people there are 'real' even though might not match each others tastes and preferences.

Fab has all the great pros and cons that we enjoy and hopefully know about

Yes these days we Brits aren't as liberal as our parents or grandparents even though sex is more in the public eye but it's easier to travel the web looking g for sex than going out in public looking for it

I think it may stop sex happening as you chase the ideal around the globe where in the real world e.g. club meets you take your pick of those present and actually have sex instead of writing about it.

that isn't necessarily true as nights out to clubs are so rare as it involves a whole weekend and babysitters and costs a fortune so we would have less sex. This way I can meet as often as I can (which isn't that often) but I can get to know and choose the right person without leaving the house. It really depends what sort of meet you prefer.
