Couldn't get past the first series.

The episode which was my final one was where two sisters were talking in a boat for 45 mins, then one gets bit and the non-bitten sister kills her before she turns.

its an iconic series, but its got so far up its own arse it got me disinterested...the waits between seasons sucks..and then you get the pishiest seasons ffs

they even tried bolstering the series with a spin off show, which itself is surely lack luster,(fear of the walking dead)

28 Days Later? I thought that was a good film. Shouldn't the walking dead zombies be falling apart now? Its been a few years of wandering around, exposed to the elements - it cant be good for the complexion. Plus, by now all the nuclear reactors in the world will have exploded as their coolant will have evaporated, so cancer rates will rocket....am I being a bit too nerdy? Anyway, I know what I will do come the zombie apocalypse.

A bit of both: the long drawn out buildup to the fightback against Negan's lot is a major arc in the comic books, but the details are changing, partly because of characters who either 'should be dead by now in the comics' (Carol, Judith) or ones who were never in the comics to begin with (Daryl).

And the new group of Steptoes aren't in the comics at all - I'm not sure I like this lot, their odd way of speaking seems incongruous. If an individual had been separated from others for a few years you can see how he/she might have stopped speaking in full sentences, but a whole community? Seems off to me..

I love the long drawn out process. Apparently we are now 8 months on since Glen and Abraham were done in. If you think about it then it probably would be drawn out in real life. Youd have to come up with a plan then try to find weapons etc. I'm really enjoying it

I enjoyed the first episode of this mid season start...next episode?..looks like its gonna carry on the preachy,getting shitter dialogue...and introduction of half baked characters that no one will really care about.

The pacing of the story is much in the vein of the really crap kirkland exorcism show, which I think is cancelled.

I get people wanting to see the human side of the story as opposed to the fantasy zombie horror...but stories about people in post apocalyptic settings have been done many times..with some being done better in sequential episodes(Revolution).

oh...and they keep skipping winter...

Walking dead has been pretty shit this season. Tonights episode best be the greatest episode ever made or I won't be watching it next season

I'd say it will be Sasha since she's got her own show coming.

And I think it will be a similar death to the comics involving a hood over her head

Thought it was a great finale that bought the various strands that have been running through (an admittedly tiresome at times) this series together and set it up nicely for the next one. Roll on October I say!!
