However someone else cooks them. Although I am partial to lightly scrambled on doorstop buttered toast with plenty of smoked chipotle tabasco (crispy bacon and fried mushrooms and tomatoes a welcome accompaninent).

Unless it's a duck egg. Then it has to be poached.

Duck eggs should be left well alone. Until they're fully grown ducks and turned into crispy pancakes.
