A marathon runner friend used to always have peanut butter and oatcakes as a snack. I've tried it and It actually seems to work: slow burn energy and a bit of protein to give a boost and stops you feeling hungry.

I used to use my own made peanut butter flapjacks for long distance rides (50-100miles) every ingredient was my choice...oats, dried fruit, and crushed nuts. Bound with honey instead of refined sugar. Little drizzle of melted dark chocolate over the top of it.

They're little squares of power and energy.

Fruit is sugar. No good.

Green veg but not peas. And proper protein foods... not shakes

its 100% whey protein so less than 1 % lactose in it

Try the soy one
