Yep quickest way to restore them is with a carpet over the top

seriouslt though you can buy a chemical not sure of the name it cleans them nicely and then you reseal them xx

Depending how bad... and how grubby hun.. A mild brick acid solution (B&Q) start somewhere less obvious.. Work it in.. and wash bits at a time.. They will sparkle.. Seal asap.

Only seal the tiles after if they aren't layed directly on earth, or on a cement sat on earth. They'll need to breathe

i know teak oil works on slate to bring out the colours etc. and they look fantastic after, not sure if works on quarry ?

When I was a kid, we used Cardinal Red tile polish. That doesn't exist anymore (god now I feel old lol) but there's a product that's taken its place - you can get it on ebay. If you want the link, let me know as I don't want to get into trouble for spamming
